Description
Drawn on cheap sketchbook and colored with a bunch of diffrent pemcils + a charcoal pencil and two home made blending stumps.
Hello everyone! It took me almost two weeks to finish this and, since I spent so much time on it, I'm not entirely satisfied with, especially on the lower part of the eagle. But I gotta say that I'm pretty amazed that it turned out like this, overall, it's kinda cool loking.
To get the framed effcect I used some magic tape, I placed it before starting the drawing itself.
I used graphite and charcoal 'cos I wanted to practice my knowledge of contrasts without focusing on coulors. Working with these mediums was very relaxing, since every mistake was easily erasable and blending was just a piece of cake. I struggled a bitwith the quality of the paper, since it can't take many layers and it got a little bit frustrated.
The title is a song by Arctic Monkeys, and while I was listening to it, the idea of a thunderstor as the background popped into my mind, so I thought it could be a nice title for this piece.
Sooooooo... Watcha think about it? I know that there's a lot to be improved, so feel free to give me any kind of criticism, it would be immensely appreciated ^_^
Thank you for your time, Happy Holidays
